02 / Why this exists

Your vehicle is the most expensive thing parked in the sun.

Most ceramic soaps are built for mild weather and garaged cars. Bahama is battle-tested in 108°F Sun Belt sun, on vehicles that live outside and never see a garage — so it protects paint, plastic, rubber, and tires no matter where you park. That’s the SunShield™ molecule.

02b / Designed for the cup holder

All about the little details.

The bottle was engineered specifically for car enthusiasts. Modeled after the iconic AriZona iced tea can, every Bahama bottle fits exactly into a standard vehicle cup holder · that’s why the volume is unconventional. Custom-developed, ergonomic, anti-slip grip. The bottle came first; the fill matched the bottle.

  • Cup-holder fitDrops into any standard automotive cup holder.
  • AriZona-can profileTall, narrow, instantly recognizable.
  • Ergonomic anti-slip gripCustom-developed for wet hands and detailing days.
  • 24 fl oz / 710 mlVolume sized to the bottle, not the other way around.

03 / SunShield™

The chemistry, in three molecules.

Cn / Sheet 1

Graphene.
Impact armor.

A single-atom carbon lattice 200× stronger than steel. We disperse it through the formula so it lays flat on your clear coat · a structural layer that takes the hit before paint does.

SiO₂ / Liquid glass

SiO₂.
Hydrophobic gloss.

Silicon dioxide · the molecule glass is made of, in liquid form. Cross-links with the clear coat at 110° contact angle. Water cannot wet it. The shine is the side effect of the chemistry.

UVA / UVB / 290-400nm

SunShield™.
UV defense.

Proprietary UV absorbers built into every Bahama formula. They sit above the clear coat and eat the wavelengths that turn red trucks pink and dashboards into dust. Nobody else does this.

05 / Cross-section

Three layers between your paint and the sun.

Stack analysis

Three layers.
Two weeks of UV defense.
One bottle.

Most ceramic sprays put one layer down · the SiO₂. Bahama lays graphene first, SiO₂ second, SunShield UV on top. That’s why UV protection holds for two weeks and graphene restoration keeps the finish looking new long after.

Questions we
actually get.

Can I use it on the dirt bike too?+

Yes. Mega Foaming Soap is engineered to be safe on raw plastics, race graphics, anodized aluminum, and chain wax. The Whole Garage promise, same bottle on the truck, the bike, and the side-by-side.

Will it remove an existing ceramic coating?+

No. It's pH-neutral and will not strip professional coatings. Use it as your maintenance wash on top of any ceramic, including someone else's.

What's the dilution ratio?+

Foam cannon: 2 oz to 32 oz water. Hand wash bucket: 1 oz per gallon. The 24 oz bottle is good for about six full washes on a full-size pickup.

Why pink?+

Because every other detailing brand on the shelf is red, blue, or black. Pink is a color you spot from across the parking lot, and that's the entire point.

What is Tropic Mist?+

A signature scent across the entire Bahama line, coconut, sea air, citrus. It lingers about 24 hours after you wash. We do not make it stronger because that's how a wash starts smelling like a candle store.

Nice Shine to Faded Trim!

Arrived in a zip lock bag. Bottle was sealed well with no leaks. Even had a seal press in cap under the screw top cap. Very impressive. Goes on easy with a microfiber towel. Make sure to shake it up first cause some stuff can settle in the mix. I attached a picture of a trim piece that is coated next to an uncoated section. This stuff restored the dark color of the trim piece. We will see how long it lasts hopefully for awhile. Doesn't smell bad at all. Washed off my hands easy enough after applying it. So far so good.

Low-Sheen Formula with a Tropical Smell

Wasn't sure what to expect, so tested this out on the various rubbers, metals, and resin plastics under the hood around my engine bay. I noticed it coats amazingly well on certain plastics and rubbers like the resin molding, rubber cowl gaskets, and the rubber gasket trims around the window framing. Though, it didn't really take to hard, smooth and polished plastics. All and all, it's still a much better product than the majority of the stuff I've bought at the auto supply store. Smells like the beach with hints of coconut. The liquid is a teal blue color, which I like so I can see where it's being sprayed. I used a terry rag first then an applicator sponge to smooth it out as an even coating. Most of the photos show the product on the right with the unfinished areas on the left. It's passed the engine bay test and will be using it on all the trim and rubber on the exterior of my ride next.

No Sling and Long-Lasting Gloss That Holds Through Rain

The no-sling formula delivers on its claim — applied to all four tires, took the truck on the highway within an hour, and the fenders came out clean without the brown speckle pattern that cheaper tire dressings leave everywhere. The finish level is a natural satin rather than a wet plastic gloss, which looks more balanced on dark tires without appearing overdressed. SiO2 and graphene protection has kept the shine intact through three rain events and one car wash since application without the dressing washing off and leaving a patchy appearance. The 24oz bottle covers a full vehicle including tires, trim, and vinyl surfaces with significant product remaining. UV resistance is the real long-term value — trim that was fading has stopped progressing and the color has deepened after two applications. The tropic mist scent is present during application and dissipates quickly without lingering in an enclosed garage. Application with a foam applicator produces an even coat without streaking. For a trim and tire dressing that lasts more than one wash cycle and doesn't create more cleanup work than it saves, this is the best performing product tried at this price point.

Great foam, but arrived with a messy leak

I was excited to try out this Bahama Detailing Ceramic Car Wash, but the experience started off pretty messy. When the package arrived, the product's packaging was damaged, and the shampoo had spilled completely inside the bag it was wrapped in. Fortunately, the bag contained the liquid and saved it from ruining the entire shipping box, so the soap was still mostly salvageable. It's unclear if this was an Amazon transit mishap or a manufacturer packaging issue, but it definitely needs a more secure seal.As for the product performance itself, it works perfectly fine. It performs exactly like any other typical car wash soap—nothing completely out of the ordinary, but it does the job. One major plus is that it foams up really well, making it great for a thorough wash.If they can sort out the shipping leaks, it's a solid, standard car shampoo.

Worked well

As someone who enjoys keeping my vehicles looking their best, this ceramic-infused soap was a pleasant surprise. It creates a thick, rich foam that clings well to the paint and provides excellent lubrication during the wash process. The soap rinses clean without leaving streaks and noticeably enhances gloss and water beading after drying.A little goes a long way, making the bottle last longer than expected. It works great in both a foam cannon and a traditional wash bucket. The tropical scent is a nice bonus without being overpowering. If you’re looking for an easy way to maintain shine between full detailing sessions, this is an excellent addition to your wash routine.

Works great, smells a little weird, but who is sniffing tires anyway

I used this on the tires and some of the exterior black trim and it works pretty much exactly like it says. The tires came out looking clean and dark with a nice shine, but not that soaking wet, greasy look where you’re afraid it’s all going to fling down the side of the car the second you drive away. The no-sling part was the main thing I cared about and so far, yeah, no sling. I let it sit a bit before driving and didn’t end up with little oily dots all over the paint. That alone makes it better than a couple other tire products I’ve used where the car looks freshly detailed for five minutes and then like it drove through salad dressing. It goes on pretty easy too. I sprayed it onto an applicator instead of directly blasting the tire, then worked it around evenly. A little goes farther than you think, so there’s no need to soak everything. It leveled out nicely and didn’t leave weird streaks on the trim. The plastic trim looked better right away. Darker and more even, not overly shiny. Same with the tires, just a clean finished look. Water seems to bead up on it too, and after a wash the finish was still hanging on pretty well. Now the scent. It says Tropic Mist and personally I’m not a big fan of it. It’s not horrible, just not something I’d choose as a candle, cologne, or life experience. But also no one is going around sniffing your tires, at least I hope not, so it really doesnt matter once you’re done applying it. The smell fades anyway.Bottle is a good size and should last awhile unless you’re dressing tires every other day for emotional support. Mine only took a modest amount for all four tires and some trim.Good stuff. Works as advertised, gives a nice clean shine, and most importantly it stayed on the tires instead of decorating the sides of the car. I can live with the scent for that.

I’ve tried a lot of car soaps over the years, and this ceramic foaming soap is honestly one of the better ones.

The foam is definitely the standout. It clings well to the surface and gives you enough time to actually break down dirt instead of just running off right away. I used it with a foam cannon and it produced a thick, shaving-cream-like foam, which I liked. It made the wash feel a bit more “premium” compared to cheaper soaps.

Cleaning power is solid. It removed normal road grime, dust, and light dirt without any issues. I did still need a second pass on some bug spots on the front bumper, but that’s pretty typical. It didn’t strip my existing coating, which was important to me.

Where I noticed a difference was after rinsing—there was a slight slickness left behind, and the paint looked a bit more glossy than with regular soap. I wouldn’t say it replaces a full ceramic coating or detail spray, but it does seem to boost whatever protection you already have.

Overall, I’d buy it again. Great stuff!!
