Why Bahama exists.
"I bought a $200 ceramic spray, applied it to my truck, and the water stopped beading three days later. So I called a chemist."
Bahama started with a closet full of detailing products that all worked great until the Sun Belt sun got to them. Every brand on the shelf was selling protection that didn’t survive the climate I was actually living in.
We spent two years on product development with two simple rules. One: every formula has to handle 110° asphalt and an 11 UV index without breaking down. Two: the same bottle has to work across every surface · paint, plastic, leather, vinyl, carbon fiber, chrome · on every vehicle in your garage.
Three products. All graphene. All SiO₂. All SunShield UV. All Tropic Mist. All made in Lake Forest. This is the brand I wish existed when I bought that first $200 bottle that didn’t make it through the summer.

The build started with a simple commitment: every formula has to earn its place on the shelf. Foaming soap and interior cleaner enter active development. No 20-SKU lineup, no filler.

Formulation, iteration, testing.
A year of formulation work. Every batch tested against real Sun Belt conditions · heat, UV, dust, salt, plastic, paint, leather, carbon fiber. Tweaks made until each product passed on every surface in a real customer's garage.

Bottle designed for the cup holder.
The bottle was engineered specifically for car enthusiasts. Modeled after the iconic AriZona iced tea can, every Bahama bottle is sized to fit exactly into a standard vehicle cup holder · that's why the volume is unconventional. Custom-developed, ergonomic, anti-slip grip. The bottle came first; the fill matched the bottle. It's all about the little details with Bahama.
