When do I use it?+
Last. After the wash and after the vehicle is dry. It is the pass that happens right before the car goes out on the road or onto the showroom floor.
How is it different from Simple Finish?+
Simple Finish restores, Final Touch finishes. Use Simple Finish to bring faded rubber, plastic, trim and wheels back to new. Use Final Touch as the last pass on paint, glass, chrome, matte, PPF and carbon fiber, and on wraps, vinyl and plastic when you want slickness and beading rather than restoration.
Can I use it on windows and glass?+
Yes, it is one of the best uses for it. Clean the inside of the glass with Ceramic Interior Cleaner first, then finish with Final Touch. On outside glass, wash with Mega Foaming Soap and dry, then apply Final Touch for the ceramic protection and the water beading.
How long does it last?+
A full coat (spray, wipe smooth, let it dry 5 minutes, buff) lasts 3 to 6 months. Between full coats, do a light coat every wash: spray a microfiber, wipe the vehicle down, and each light coat builds on the layer that is already there. Keep that rhythm and your ride is bulletproof.
Does it need to cure?+
Yes. Apply it properly and then keep the surface dry for about 24 hours so it fully cures, the same way a high-end ceramic coating is treated. In our own testing, getting it wet sooner has not caused problems, but it performs best if you let it cure first.
How hydrophobic is it?+
Every Bahama product is hydrophobic. This one is ultra hydrophobic, a tighter layer that keeps water beading and rolling straight off the panel instead of sitting on it.
Does it build up over time?+
Yes. The nanotechnology bonds on a molecular level and layers with every application, so each session builds on the last and the barrier of protection keeps getting stronger. Every Bahama product carries SunShield UV, so the protection compounds across the system.
Can I use it on a dirty car?+
No. Do not use it on heavy dirt or grit, or you risk dragging that grit across the paint. Wash first, dry, then finish.
Why is it streaking?+
It needs the dry time and the second pass. Spray and wipe, let it dry for 5 minutes, then go back with a clean, dry microfibre and buff. Skip the buff and it streaks. Do it and you get a streak-free, water-spot-free, ultra hydrophobic ceramic layer with SunShield UV protection, and water spots stop sticking.
How is this different from waxing?+
Waxing eats a whole day and wears off in weeks. Final Touch takes about an hour from wash to cured finish: spray, wipe smooth, let it dry 5 minutes, then buff with a dry microfiber. A full coat lasts 3 to 6 months and leaves a streak-free, water-spot-free ceramic layer with UV protection.
How often do I need the full coat?+
Every 3 to 6 months. Once the full coat is down, Final Touch becomes your quick detail spray: in the days and weeks after, lightly mist a microfiber and wipe the vehicle down to touch it up. Each light coat builds on the layer that is already there.
