Step 2: Foam the wheel
Cover the wheel and tire with Mega Foaming Soap from a foam cannon, or load your brushes from the bucket. Give the foam a moment to soften the brake dust, but do not let it dry on the chrome.
Step 3: Brush every spoke
Start at the hub and work outward. Use the small brush around the knock-off and spoke heads, the spoke brush along each spoke and through the crossings, and the soft wheel brush on the rim lip and barrel. Dunk the brushes in the Grit Guard Bucket often.

Once the wheel is clean and dry, look at it in good light. Clean chrome that still looks cloudy usually has one of three problems.

- Oxidation. A dull or milky haze. Light oxidation calls for a dedicated chrome or metal polish worked in gently by hand.
